Until now, the history of 'NEARU' has stayed as a mystery for people and even the athletic communities (except a limited number). The discovery of this sport's history and the revelation of its secrets go back to the life of a lonely man, living in a village in Himalayas, called Takashi.

In the year 1907, in a journey that this determined man had to the north of Tibet, he came by a leather book which spoke with depictions. For 40 years he studied the book and compared it with other old books which were written till that time. Finally, after subtle studies and regular trainings and exercises, he named this book "The Seven Secrets" (for every secret he considered a particular personality).

This sage man, whom later was called Master Takashi, mentions in his writings: 'This book (The Seven Secrets) contains the atomic power of the human body and the instinct inner power of human beings. This internal power is separated into seven natural and pure parts.'

He declares in his documents that in the old ages these powers and knowledge were used only for protecting human life and the convenience of mankind, for example: to confront the wild nature, fierce animals, the cold and the heat and even for peace and harmony between people.

Finally in between long wars among humans this book and its instructions came far from sight and little by little its subjects were forgotten; undoubtedly the modern industrial world played an important role in this matter.

In year 1947 Master Takashi started to follow the map which was depicted on the last pages of the book; he believed that this was the journey which was accomplished by the last people who the book was with them.

Master Takashi believed that the 7th secret of this book should be taught and people should know and use this strange mystery. He gathered about 200 students, after traveling for 16 years among countries like Nepal, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia and teaching this art.

Master Takashi truly believed that the lessons of this book and the skills of this sport should never be misused; therefore all of his students were in this way united by oath.

In 1963 Master Takashi accompanied by 30 of his students reached to Bromo Mountains at the east of Indonesia. At this time, this indefatigable man penetrated into the 6th and 7th secrets; the 'Inner vision' and 'Inner voice', and his strength and abilities increased very much.

In the year 1976 Master Takashi passed away.

Master Takashi's sincere wish was for all humans to be informed of this book, its secrets and mysteries, learn it from generation to generation and convey it chest to chest, and forbear from misusing this art.

A number of his students, who had reached the Masters level, decided to spread this sport to other countries, one of them was Master Lionel who started to teach, after immigrating to England in year 1977.

Master Lionel succeeded to establish the biggest KATEDA club in London in year 1981, and by this way train many students from various countries and different nationalities (Europeans, Indians, and Iranians) resident in that country.

In year 1987, three of the Masters, which had reached mastership under supervision of Master Lionel, followed his orders to understand the 7th secret and went to the Himalayas, where the book was first found by Master Takashi.

Two of the students were Iranians and the third was from England. They started their journey toward the mountain through different routes; after tolerating hardships and many problems, they brought their mission successfully to an end and returned to England.

One of the two Iranian Masters was Amir Lotfi.

At the end of the same year, Master Lotfi decided to study about other martial arts such as Karate, Thai-chi, Aikido, Judo and Silat. Studying in these fields and composing them with Master's main field, 'Kateda', caused the development of a new field named 'Nearu'.

In 1990 the martial art 'Nearu' was registered in the federation of martial arts in London. Master Lotfi returned to Iran in the year 1991, started teaching this material art, and he is still working in this sport.

Now, after 10 years, 'Nearu' has found many fans between the youth. A clear proof for this claim is training about 2,000 students now.

Ostad in BromoIn the martial art 'Nearu', the focus is on the soul and its power consistently beside the body. To reach and awaken these inner powers, the method of 'concentration' and 'correct breathing' is used. Scheduling and carrying on with annual campuses is another of Master Lotfi's activities which has a great roll in purifying the soul and body of the students.

With learning this martial art, which awakes the hidden powers of the human nature, you will be amazed.
